Funded by the International Climate Initiative of the BMU the detailed engineering for the MBT Gaobeidian started in July 2009.

 

Total investments amounted to 4,3 Million € aiming on minimizing emissions caused from unproper disposal of 40.000 t municipal solid waste. Over a period of 20 years GHG emission of about 500.000 t CO2-equivalents will be avoided. 

 

In fall 2011 the plant has been established.
